Can you try to move the items to your bank,then you abandone the quest and retake it and then you take the items from bank to your bags please?
tried that, when i relog my quest log updates and shows i have the items but doesn't get marked completed
well its working for me, you try to move items to bank,abandone the quest,then close your wow completly, delete cache folder and retake the quest and take the items of bank. if it doesnt work, you tell me it in discord and I will complete the quest.
